decemberists poster with old style inspired type

the type in this decemberists poster points to the victorian era (and so do the graphics). there's this old school "D" with flourishes growing out of it; the rest of the type is less ornate, but points to calligraphy, particularly that part of the victorian era that was influenced by asia and the far east. You can see this in the little flourish at the top of the "h" and "b," and also in the "t's."

The type here makes a lot of sense for these graphics and it all fits in nicely and works well together.

I love it. I think I love all of these Decemberists posters. I'm inspired, too.
